ABOUT
Olympus and the Underworld apparently still have unfinished business.
Thunder vs Underworld 250 Enhanced RTP takes Pragmatic Play’s original divine showdown and gives it considerably more firepower. The first Thunder vs Underworld Enhanced RTP stopped at 15,000x, while this follow-up raises the max win multiplier to 25,000x and pushes its Expanding Wild multipliers all the way to x250.
The basic rivalry remains intact. Players choose between Thunder and Underworld, with each side changing how the Free Spins hunt behaves. Thunder makes the bonus easier to reach but reduces its average payout, while Underworld demands more patience in exchange for stronger average bonus potential.
The action unfolds across 5 reels and 15 paylines, with a huge 98.01% RTP and medium volatility. The real star, however, is the expanding Wild system, especially once those multipliers start sticking around during Free Spins.

Betting Options and Bonus Features
Thunder vs Underworld 250 Enhanced RTP offers a flexible stake range, while regular wins are formed from left to right across adjacent reels on one of the 15 paylines.
The symbol set mixes familiar royal icons with helmets, goblets, eagles, winged horses and the two gods themselves. Wilds can appear across the reels and substitute for normal paying symbols, while Scatters handle access to the bonus round.
Before any of that begins, though, players need to pick their divine allegiance.
Thunder produces more frequent Free Spins, but the average return inside the feature is lower. Underworld flips that equation, making the bonus tougher to trigger while increasing its average payout once reached.
Expanding Wilds and Free Spins
The entire game revolves around Expanding Wilds.
When a special Wild lands in a position where expanding it can contribute to a winning line, it stretches across the whole reel and receives a multiplier. Possible values climb through x2, x3, x4, x5 and beyond, eventually reaching the headline x250. If more than one expanded Wild contributes to the same win, their multipliers are added together, creating the possibility of some seriously charged combinations.
Free Spins are triggered by landing Scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5, awarding 10 spins.
This is where the mechanic really gets struck by lightning. Any Expanding Wild that appears during the bonus remains locked on the reels for the rest of the feature, keeping both its position and multiplier in play.
A useful Wild landing early can therefore influence almost every spin that follows, while additional Wilds gradually turn the board into a growing multiplier trap.
The feature cannot be retriggered, so those 10 spins are all about building the strongest possible reel setup before the gods call time.

Special Bets and Bonus Buys
Players can also skip the slow buildup with several aggressive wager options.
- Super Spin 1 costs 100x the bet and guarantees one Wild carrying a random multiplier on every spin. The Wild expands whenever it can contribute to a win.
- Super Spin 2 takes things much further, costing a massive 3,000x the bet while guaranteeing an x250 Wild on each spin.
Then come the direct Free Spins purchases:
Bonus Buy | Thunder Cost | Underworld Cost | What It Does |
Free Spins | 75x bet | 150x bet | Triggers 10 Free Spins. |
Super Free Spins 1 | 300x bet | 300x bet | Starts with 1 guaranteed Expanding Wild. |
Super Free Spins 2 | 1,750x bet | 3,500x bet | Starts with x100 in Thunder or x250 in Underworld. |
That final option is where the two sides really separate. Thunder offers a cheaper route into a strong opening setup, while Underworld asks for an enormous 3,500x stake in exchange for beginning the feature with a guaranteed x250 Expanding Wild.
The RTP also shifts slightly across some Special Bets and Bonus Buys, generally sitting between 98.01% to 98.04% depending on the option selected.
Roshtein’s Take
I like that the “250” actually means something here rather than just being slapped onto the title. The jump from the original game’s 15,000x max win to 25,000x, combined with x250 Expanding Wilds, gives this version a noticeably bigger punch.
The sticky Wilds are easily the best part for me. Watching one strong multiplier land early and then remain on the reels for the rest of the bonus creates exactly the kind of tension these Free Spins need.
The Bonus Buys get completely ridiculous at the top end, especially that 3,500x Underworld option, but if the goal is to turn a battle between gods into a full-blown multiplier war, Pragmatic Play has definitely understood the assignment.
